SEARCH & RECOVERY

It is not uncommon for someone to be getting on or off their boat and to drop something down into the water below. Let’s face it, it happens all the time. Dosil’s Marine Services can go down and locate that lost or missing item and bring back up to you. Our trained divers have the knowledge and skills to perform multiple search patterns and grids and utilize such tools as lifts bags and underwater metal detectors to locate and retrieve your missing items.

Ways We Can Perform a Search and Recovery

Metal Detector ~ Using a JW Fisher Pulse 8x metal detector we are able to tow behind one of our three boats with an 18” coil capable of spanning a large distance of ground to find missing items. We are also able to send down a diver utilizing the 7 ½” coil to pinpoint exact locations of missing items.

Tow Behind ~ To find larger missing items such as chains or moorings we can use one of our three boats to grapple hook a missing object and then send down a diver to locate and retrieve the object.

Underwater Camera ~ Dosil’s Marine can use our underwater camera to also look for missing items to help retrieve them in a quick and manageable fashion.

Diver ~ The diver is the link that holds all these methods together. Our divers are experienced and trained to use these methods to find and bring back whatever it is you may have lost, from a set of keys to a mooring, we can find it and retrieve it for you!
