BUCKET TEST
Not sure if you are loosing water… Or how much? Try a “Bucket Test”

Place a good sized bucket on the 2nd step of your pool - filled to about the same water level as the pool.

Mark both the bucket water level and the pool water level with a piece of tape on each.

Operate the pool as usual for at least 24 hours.

Check and measure the difference in the water levels of the bucket and pool. The difference between the two indicates the pool water loss.

Amount the Pool has Lost

Example:    ½”

                -  ¼”
             ______

              =  ¼”

This is the amount of water loss for the time period you tested. If it was 24 hrs, the above example would mean you are loosing a ¼” of water per day. If the testing period was longer, adjust the time accordingly.
